Quality Matters
If this was a birthday party or anniversary celebration, it might not be quite as critical, but considering it is your wedding day—why would you not want the best quality possible? We have been filming wedding video since 2016 and take great pride in delivering the very highest quality. Creativity and intent to capture deep emotion is our primary objective. Many videographers are satisfied with capturing the moments but their footage is not compelling or movie-like in quality. We strive to make each clip of your video a creative and beautifully-filmed work of art.
Consistency is Critical
To have your entire highlight video being all at the same high quality is important to us. We have invested in quality gear to deliver a consistently amazing high level across your entire video. There are only two of us and we have intentionally trained together to deliver footage that looks like it was all shot by one videographer. Our creativity and technical knowledge is very similar to ensure no area is weak or “looks different”. Jonah and John started MurmrMedia together many years ago and are on the same page to ensure you know what to expect when your final video is ready to enjoy.

Yes, our equipment is top-notch and we have great lenses to capture your wedding. We also have technical skills to ensure lighting and exposure is correct and look good. However, if that is all we have to offer, your video isn’t going to be a masterpiece. It is our creativity that sets us apart. We train together year round and are always striving to learn new techniques to become even better. Videography isn’t a pastime or hobby— it is our passion and delivering the best is always our objective. Of course we have to be flexible on your wedding day or we would hold up the show, but we're always thinking of creative possibilities and will do all that we can to squeeze in as many as we can.
Affordability is a Must
Just because you want a great video doesn’t mean you have to blow the budget. We have put together a list of wedding video packages that give you flexibility. Having two videographers for 10 hours or more will always produce the best results but that package is not realistic for every couple. If you decide to go ahead with only one videographer, you are still going to get great production level and creativity. We will be bending over backwards to capture everything we possibly can and then editing it all together carefully to deliver a fantastic video for you.

Our team is a little unique in that we are a family business. This unique relationship allows us to communicate quickly and work seamlessly with couples to produce amazing wedding videography. Jonah
Jonah is a full-time videographer creating high-end video for business, fashion, real estate, and of course, weddings. He excels in pushing new boundaries and techniques to create highly creative video. He is always looking for new and creative ways to film and create a memorable impression. Skilled at editing as well, he thoroughly enjoys taking his footage to new levels with every new video.
John
John’s background is originally in photography. His specialty has been capturing lifestyle moments and bringing them to life. The transition to video was a natural and enjoyable journey. John specializes in directing and setting up shots to appear very natural and compelling. His time is divided between filming and directing. Outside of MurmrMedia, John has been the owner of a local web design business for nearly 30 years.

A Few Q&A’s
We doubt this will answer all your questions. A wedding is a big event and there is always lots to discuss so feel free to call us anytime to go over your details. In the meantime, this may answer a few of your questions.
What Equipment Do You Use?
We are always making upgrades to our equipment. However, our current cameras for weddings are both Black Magic Cinematic cameras. Most of our footage is filmed in 48fps to deliver dreamy slow motion. Our lens collection includes a series of Canon L-series lenses, prime 85 art lens, and a Russian Helios lens. Our audio equipment includes professional lapel mics and a shotgun mic.
Do you Offer Destination Weddings?
We are willing to go where you want to be to celebrate your wedding day. As long as we are able to make it fit into our schedule, we will join you at your favourite destination to film you both, along with your family and friends there to celebrate with you. A destination wedding video requires some extra planning, so be sure to contact us early to increase the chances of our availability. Looking forward to it.
Do you do Winter Weddings?
The weather can get pretty cold and make things more challenging, but we are here to support you regardless. Your wedding day is very important to you and we will do everything we can to capture great footage on your big day. Some of our best look weddings have been in the dead of winter or on stormy days. We are always up for a challenge to create incredible footage and commemorate your day.
Do you Capture the Speeches?
Of course we do. The only reason we would not be able to capture them is because we are not booked long enough to physically be there when they happen. We have been capturing these important moments since our very first wedding we filmed. The highlight video is really what we specialize in creating, but if present, we will be providing a separate video of just the speeches for you to enjoy.
